Made with cheviot wool and wrapped in soft cotton, our British wool duvets are made to help you get a good night’s sleep, naturally. It does everything you wish your duvet would do — keep you cosy, wick away moisture, and keep your temperature just right.

100% British cheviot wool

Handcrafted in Yorkshire using double-scoured British cheviot wool, this duvet filling is naturally soft, resilient, and beautifully balanced in weight. Its light, candyfloss-like texture feels lush and comfortable while offering the perfect amount of support and warmth. Using nothing but pure natural wool wrapped in a cotton cover, it holds its shape night after night for long-lasting comfort.

Choice of duvet weight and warmth

Summer duvet - 450gsm (equivalent to 4–5 tog)

All season duvet - 600gsm (equivalent to 7–9 tog)

Winter duvet - 750gsm (equivalent to 10–13 tog)

Wool duvets work differently to synthetic ones. Traditional tog ratings don’t quite apply because wool doesn’t just trap heat. It also releases excess warmth, keeping you warm or cool as needed. For that reason, we categorise our duvets by weight instead of tog rating.

Duvet dimensions

Frequently Asked Questions

Not sure which mattress is right for you?

Choosing a mattress doesn’t have to be stressful. That’s why our sleep experts are here to make it easy. We’ll skip the sales pitch and stick to what matters... honest, expert advice to help you sleep better at night.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is free for customers in mainland UK. If you’re outside of that area or unsure if we cover your address, drop us a line. We’ll be happy to help.

How long does delivery take?

Most orders arrive in 5–10 working days. We’ll give you an expected delivery timeframe at checkout. You’ll also receive order progress updates so you’re never left guessing about when to expect your order.

Do you offer next-day delivery?

No, sadly not. We don’t have a warehouse stacked high with mattresses and bedding as we don’t believe it’s good practice for quality control. Orders typically arrive within 5–10 working days. We’re confident it’ll be worth the wait.

What makes wool duvets different from synthetic ones?

Wool duvets work with your body. Unlike synthetic fillings that trap heat, wool naturally regulates temperature and wicks away moisture. It can cool you down when you’re too hot and visa-versa, helping you stay comfortable whatever the temperature.

How do I choose the right duvet weight?

Choose the right duvet by matching its weight to your preferred temperature and heaviness. If you want a lightweight duvet that’s suitable for summer months or hot sleepers, choose our lighter summer duvet (450gsm). If your room is colder or you want a thicker option for winter, choose our winter duvet (750gsm). Otherwise, our all seasons duvet (600gsm) is a great all-rounder for a balanced sleep.

Not sure which one to choose? Our sleep experts are always happy to help.

What tog rating is a wool duvet?

Wool duvets don’t work in the same way as synthetic ones. This means they don’t use the traditional tog system. A tog rating measures how warm a duvet will keep you based on how much heat the duvet traps. This is because synthetic duvet fillings are made to trap heat. Wool duvets, however, can trap heat and release it when needed, meaning they’re more clever than the tog system accounts for.

That said, we’ve popped some handy tog-equivalent guidance below to help you compare:

  • Summer duvet - 450gsm (equivalent to 4–5 tog)
  • All season duvet - 600gsm (equivalent to 7–9 tog)
  • Winter duvet - 750gsm (equivalent to 10–13 tog)

Are wool duvets hypoallergenic?

Yes. Wool is naturally hypoallergenic and resistant to both dust mites and bacteria. Our 100% British cheviot wool filling is double-scoured to remove any dirt and impurities for superior softness and cleanliness. This makes it a great option for allergy sufferers or sensitive sleepers. It also means you can rest more comfortably knowing your bedding is designed for a healthier sleep environment.

What are the benefits of a wool duvet?

Wool duvets offer excellent temperature regulation and have natural hypoallergenic properties, making them a great choice for a better quality sleep. Unlike synthetic duvets, wool helps release excess heat when you’re warm and gently insulates when you’re cooler. Made from natural materials, wool duvets also wick away moisture and create a fresher, more comfortable sleep environment overall.
